Siemens Ruggedcom RMC40 Media converter is a 4-port unmanaged Ethernet switch from siemens Ruggedcom RMC family that provides both copper-to-fiber media conversion as well as 10Mbps to 100Mbps speed conversion. Not only does the RMC40 come with an option to use in place of traditional copper-to-fiber media converters, it also has the added ability to convert speed from 10Mbps to 100Mbps. With dual fiber optics, daisy chaining of Ethernet enabled devices can easily be accomplished. For the most demanding of systems, a dual-redundant fiber optic connection can be created for a device that only offers a single 10/100TX port.

The Rapidox SF6 6100 Portable is designed for controlling and monitoring the quality of SF6 in MV & HV gas insulated electrical equipment. Exceptional accuracy and stability are provided when measuring the purity of SF6 gas, through specially selected sensors. A gas output nozzle allows for the analyser to be attached to the Rapidox Gas Recovery Bag, ensuring that all sampled SF6 gas is recovered.
Internal SF6 gas pressure is recorded and logged by the analyser. All measured gases are analysed and data-logged simultaneously with only a few minutes required to achieve a stable reading. In order to accelerate the time taken in-between dew point readings, a unique Rapidri system is fitted to analysers measuring H2O. When not in use the sensor can be isolated via the ‘Run – Storage’ valve.
Other measurable gases include H2O (dew point), SO2, HF, O2 & CF4. Due to the instruments modular design, a number of configurations are available in order to suit a variety of application requirements.

Usage/Application | Industrial |
The Cambridge Sensotec SF6 Fixed Detection System is a wide area monitoring solution to ensure safety for personnel working in, or who have access to, rooms that contain high voltage switchgear, circuit breakers and transformers where SF6 is at high pressure; it is important to monitor for leaks continuously.
The system comprises of either the Oldham Gas MX32 alarm measurement panel linked to one or two Oldham Gas OLCT-XPIR SF6 fixed detectors, or the larger Oldham Gas MX43 alarm measurement panel linked to between one and eight Oldham Gas OLCT-XPIR SF6 fixed detectors.
The MX32 and MX43 are compact, low-profile, wall-mount controllers that continuously monitor for SF6 leaks using remote cabled detector head units, positioned at low level around the surrounding walls. The panels include a strobe and horn to alert personnel in the event that the alarm levels for SF6 in the working environment exceed acceptable limits. Power alarm relays can be used to trigger external sirens or link into existing alarm equipment. All data can be output to a PLC or building management system.
The OLCT100-XPIR SF6 long-life infrared detector is an ATEX rated 4-20mA analogue SF6 gas transmitter designed for industrial applications in hazardous locations; the measurement range is 0-2,000ppm (the threshold limit value – or TLV, time-weighted average – for SF6 is 1,000 ppm). Each detector has programmable INSTANT, STEL and TWA alarm thresholds.
As each application is unique we offer a full installation design and installation service to meet your requirements and obligations.

Designed to store up to 80 litres of gas, the Rapidox SF6 Gas Recovery Bag allows for numerous tests before it requires emptying. Once the user has finished their assessment or the gas bag has become full, it can be returned to a recycling facility for correct disposal.
Self-sealing, industry standard couplings allow for the bag to be easily connected to the Rapidox SF6 6100 Portable and Bench gas analysers, in order to prevent the release of SF6 gas into the atmosphere. Additionally the Rapidox SF6 Gas Recovery Bag is able to work in conjunction with any other gas analyser when fitted with the correct valve.
The bag is constructed from an extremely tough, heavy duty DP472 PU (712028) coated polyamide material. A safety blow off valve is incorporated, in addition to a clear pocket on the side for documents and a strong reinforced handle for transport.
