The RSG2100NC’s superior Rugged Rated™ hardware design coupled with the embedded Rugged Operating System (ROS) provides improved system reliability and advanced cyber security and networking features making it ideally suited for creating secure Ethernet networks for mission-critical, real-time control applications. The RSG2100NC’s modular flexibility offers 10BaseF/100 BaseFX /1000BaseX fiber and 10/100/1000BaseTX copper port combinations. TRUGGEDCOM DIRECTOR is a serial port redirection application that is designed to extend the life and reach of applications written for serial communications. With RUGGEDCOM DIRECTOR, serial port communications are no longer limited by serial protocol cable length requirements or physical port counts that restrict the design and flexibility of networks and the ability to manage them. Using RUGGEDCOM DIRECTOR, the application communications destined for host serial ports are mapped to the host LAN ports for transport across a TCP/IP network to RUGGEDCOM serial servers. This allows the host to be located centrally for easier management and maintenance and provides access to many more serial devices. The redirection is done seamlessly and with no modification required to the host application providing extended life to both the application and the serial device that it communicates with.
Getting up and running quickly is easy with the Windows based graphical user interface. Simply provide the port parameters on the application host and the RUGGEDCOM serial server and RUGGEDCOM DIRECTOR automatically generates the required connections. The main interface window shows the connected ports, status and the number of packets sent and received providing real time information on the health of system. Troubleshooting is simplified with the logging feature of RUGGEDCOM DIRECTOR; the data flow on a selected port can be monitored in the detail dialogue window and directed to a file for further analysis.
RUGGEDCOM DIRECTOR saves time and cost allowing legacy serial devices and applications to communicate over LAN connections without modification to hardware or software. RUGGEDCOM DIRECTOR is a complimentary software package designed to work with RUGGEDCOM serial device servers.

The RUGGEDCOM RPS1300 can provide up to 140 watts of DC power to support up to four 802.3at ports (30W each) or eight 802.3af ports (15W each).
Tested and certified to the NEMA TS 2 standard, the RUGGEDCOM RPS1300 is the ideal solution to provide PoE power for RUGGEDCOM devices in harsh conditions such as those experienced in roadside traffic cabinets.

The RUGGEDCOM RM1224 wireless router comes with an integrated 4 port Fast Ethernet switch, one digital input and one digital output. Thanks to its high bandwidths and performance capabilities the RUGGEDCOM RM1224 wireless router can be deployed in a diverse range of applications: from the integration of remote substations and feeder devices to rail wayside applications and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), as well as remote video surveillance.
The RUGGEDCOM RM1224 router comes with an integrated 4 port switch, which can be used to connect up to four Ethernet devices. In addition it comes with two antenna connections, making it possible for operators to use multiple receive and transmit paths (antenna diversity) and thus increase both signal quality and bandwidth. The RUGGEDCOM RM1224 has digital IO (one input and one output) for applications like setting up secured VPN connections upon user button push. Furthermore, the device is equipped with its own redundant power supply for bridging short-term power failures.
The RUGGEDCOM RM1224 is characterized by a compact housing, which means that its ideal in control cabinets with limited space available. The RUGGEDCOM RM1224 offers downlink speeds of up to 100 Mbit/s and uplink speeds of up to 50 Mbit/s via LTE. When there is no LTE available, the RUGGEDCOM RM1224 supports HSPA+ (Evolved High Speed Packet Access) and EVDO (Evolution Data Optimized), depending on the available mobile service provider infrastructure. This 3G mode enables high transmission rates to end devices (downlink) of up to 14.4 Mbit/s and back to the telecommunications network (uplink) of up to 5.76 Mbit/s.
